Break other operators as assigned.Tools and equipment used:
flashlights, hot hoses, high pressure hoses, stop watches, stein cups, telephones, scrapers, foamers, shovels, squeegees, brooms, ladders (rollaway stairs), buckets, control panels/terminals, and waste carts. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 3-6 months' work experiences in a manufacturing facility.LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write accurate information on simple forms in English. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This position may or may not be on ground level. The operators are expected to know how three different fryers operate (they are not all on the same level). The use of chemicals for cleanup purposes creates an added exposure. You must be able to withstand high temperatures and humidity. Conditions may sometimes be wet and slippery due to the constant use of sanitation chemicals and water. Anyone who can't handle extremes in temperature should not consider this position. The ability to stand and walk is a must due to the constant monitoring of the equipment in use. Ascending and descending stairs is also crucial, especially at break times when it is necessary to watch more than one area.QUALIFICATION PERIOD
