Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered, your application must demonstrate these minimum qualifications. (Experience is calculated based on the start and end dates you provide multiplied by the number of hours per week worked).- High school diploma or equivalent and three years of administrative support experience or one year in a position equivalent to IAA I.
- College or business school training may be substituted for up to two years of the administrative experience requirement.
- Other equivalent combinations of experience and training will be considered.
Success Criteria:
These qualifications, skills and abilities are critical for success in this position. Advanced proficiency with computer applications and systems (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Banner, Workday, and virtual meeting platforms) Experience monitoring financial transactions and working with budgetary spreadsheets, including identifying errors or areas of overspending (or openness to learning) Strong customer service skills, with the ability to effectively support and communicate with diverse stakeholders, often while handling frequent interruptions. Ability and willingness to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Demonstrated cultural awareness and ability to engage respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability, including knowing when to seek guidance. Adaptability, curiosity, and professionalism, including willingness to learn, navigate change, and maintain confidentiality (FERPA knowledge preferred).Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Work is generally performed in an office environment with frequent interruptions or changes in work flow. Occasional lifting, guiding, or carrying of light-weight materials or equipment may be required. Position involves sitting for extended periods of time while working at a computer terminal. Learned physical skill is required to perform keyboarding and/or ten-key functions.
