Orthodontic Assistant

Description:

Jacklyn Kurth Orthodontics is seeking a friendly, reliable Orthodontic Assistant to join our patient-centered team. We are a modern, well-organized orthodontic practice with locations in Foster City and Belmont, and we pride ourselves on creating a positive experience for both our patients and team members. We are looking for a skilled assistant who can help support our busy orthodontic practices, working 2 days in each location.

Schedule:

Full-time 28-32 hours

Responsibilities:

Assist the orthodontist chairside during patient appointments Change wires, ties, and appliances Prepare patients for bonding procedures Assist with Invisalign deliveries, including: Placing attachments, reviewing aligner care and wear instructions Take intraoral photos, impressions/scans, and X-rays (as applicable) Prepare and turn over operatories Provide excellent patient care and education Maintain infection control and clinical standards

Requirements:

Prior orthodontic assisting experience preferred Willing to train a DA or RDA interested in transitioning to ortho Experience with Invisalign attachment placement and delivery workflows preferred Ability to work independently with minimal training Strong chairside skills and attention to detail Friendly, professional, and patient-focused demeanor California RDA or OA certification preferred (as applicable)
