• Growing leading Importer and Distributor Company in the Flooring industry in Florida and California.

We are looking for an ambitious Regional B2B Account manager in New Jersey territory to promote our mosaic and field tile collections to new and established accounts in order to maximize sales volume.

Territory:

NEW JERSEY

Once hired, the candidate will attend 1-2 weeks training dependant upon experience.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Must be able and willing to travel frequently throughout the territory. Responsible to display the products based on specifications. Maintain close communication with the manager and/or office staff about customer samples. Maintain constant communication with the manager about the performance of the accounts. Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-ups with customers, prospects, and managers. Service existing customers, up-sell current customers. Prospect and cold-visit new businesses to open new accounts. Responsible for building and expanding the business within the territory by calling and visiting potential customers. Responsible for keeping the company vehicle clean and well-maintained conditions. This is a new territory and will require a strong will and dedication to seek new business, build sales, and grow the territory.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Prior sales experience is a plus. Prior customer service experience is a plus. Prior building materials experience a plus. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including influencing and negotiating are a plus. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with people at all levels. Ability to perform quality work in an organized manner. General computer knowledge including Word, Excel and Gmail. Valid Driver's License. Must have a 3 year clean driving record. Must be able to pass a drug test.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Standing, walking, moving, carrying, bending, kneeling, reaching, handling, pushing and pulling. Ability to lift up to 85 lbs. unassisted.

COMPENSATION

• $50,000
• $100,000 (Base (DOE)+ Commission)
• 10 paid holidays plus 8 PTO days per year

• Reimbursement for vehicle maintenance, gas, etc.
