Job Description

Service Technician - Tree Care & Plant Health Care Join Our Growing Team! If you are looking for a long-term career in the tree care and landscape industry, this opportunity is for you! We are seeking a motivated, hardworking, and detail-oriented Service Technician who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service. This position is ideal for someone with experience in tree care, landscaping, plant health care, and customer relations. From diagnosing tree issues and performing treatments to assisting with tree sales and field operations, no two days are the same. What We're Looking For We are seeking a candidate who: Loves working outdoors in all seasons Has strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Works safely, efficiently, and independently Has experience with tree care, landscaping, and plant health Is bilingual in English and Spanish Has a clean driving record and can pass a background check Position Responsibilities Tree & Plant Health Care Diagnose tree and shrub issues including diseases, nutrient deficiencies, pests, and watering concerns Apply pesticides, fertilizers, fungicides, and herbicides safely and according to state regulations Perform soil injections, tree injections, deep root fertilization, spraying, watering, and other PHC services Identify insects, fungus conditions, and pest-prone areas Maintain accurate treatment records, reports, and work orders Customer Service & Sales Meet with clients on-site to inspect and discuss tree conditions Communicate treatment recommendations, timelines, and completed services Present proposals and assist customers with tree and service sales Ensure customer satisfaction by responding promptly to urgent concerns Field Operations Assist crews with tree pruning, removals, stump grinding, chipping, and debris cleanup as needed Operate and maintain equipment including skid steers, stump grinders, chainsaws, sprayers, and specialized PHC equipment Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment Support weekend sales and office coverage when necessary Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) High School Diploma or GED Valid driver's license with clean driving record Clean background check 3+ years of experience in landscaping, arboriculture, or tree care preferred TDA Applicator License or willingness to obtain within 90 days Knowledge of tree identification, tree physiology, and treatment practices Ability to safely operate landscape and tree care equipment Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong commitment to safety and PPE compliance Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally and 50 lbs. repetitively Ability to work outdoors up to 90% of the time in varying weather conditions Comfortable working on uneven terrain and performing physical labor for extended periods Why Join Us? Pay:
$20.00 - $27.00 per hour

This job requires the applicant to be able to lift, move and maneuver heavy weights up to 75 lbs. on an infrequent basis, but Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively, and perform physical labor for extended periods in a variety of weather conditions. Working outdoors up to 90% of the time on uneven ground in inclement weather where temperatures could get as high or above as 105 degrees and as low as below zero. Are you willing to do that?
