Duties & Responsibilities Review work orders and meet with internal customers to explain the repair process and provide updates on progress. Develop and follow detailed work procedures using technical manuals, charts, and diagnostic tools. Read and interpret diagnostic results to accurately identify issues and determine effective solutions. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle components, including transmissions, engines, steering mechanisms, and brake systems, while following checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined. Replace malfunctioning or worn-out parts with precision and care. Perform essential maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and fluid level checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Test-drive vehicles post-repair to verify that all systems are working properly and the vehicle is safe to operate. Be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office including but not limited to Outlook and Teams. Shows desire to learn, follows directions well, works great with others, and maintains a positive attitude. This is a full-time position that may vary outside the normal work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Shifts may include early mornings, nights, overtime, and weekends to meet production needs. Qualifications Ability to work overnight shift is required. High School diploma or equivalent Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance on a regular basis. Comfortable working in various weather conditions. Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or similar role. Strong understanding of diesel engine systems and mechanical components. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and charts. Strong communication skills. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
