Overnight Residential Staff

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This is an overnight position, which you must always remain awake. Check and lock all outside doors. Check garage doors and make sure all security lights are on. Turn off all appliances along with any lights that are left on in or outside the house. Supervision of clients. Complete all assigned clerical work (i.e. scan documents, file paperwork into charts, and utilize the communication log) daily. Be available, to transport a client to alternate care or emergency room if needed. Be responsible for other duties as may be deemed necessary for the continuing operation of the program by the Director or Residential Operations / House Manager. Ensure that all clients are following curfew and lights out policies. Supervise clients, document, and report any necessary behaviors or attitudes that need attention. Complete documentation and progress notes, as needed. Supervision and enforcement of meal preparation, meal, and mealtime routine - always encouraging healthy choices. Responsible for answering staff mobile telephone, keeping this on one's person always. Responsible for holding medical keys and observing medication distribution, as needed. All duties specific to shift worked and other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

Valid Driver's License. Good communication skills. Demonstrate an ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work with adult male recovering addicted person. Able to work as multi-disciplinary team member.
