  • Part-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pain Management Physician to join our medical team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pain management and a comprehensive understanding of various medical disciplines. This role involves diagnosing and treating patients suffering from chronic pain conditions, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach to enhance patient care and improve quality of life. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments to determine pain management needs. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests. Formulate individualized treatment plans integrating pharmacological, interventional, and alternative therapies. Administer appropriate pain management therapies, including medication management, injections, and other interventional procedures. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, including specialists in immunology, diagnostic radiology, geriatrics, and podiatry. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Educate patients on pain management strategies, including lifestyle modifications and rehabilitation techniques. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with coding standards and regulations. Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care post-treatment. Requirements Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Pain Management or related specialty. Valid medical license to practice in the state of employment. Experience in managing chronic pain conditions is preferred. Proficiency in performing spinal taps and understanding vital signs monitoring. Strong knowledge of medical office procedures and discharge planning processes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Familiarity with coding practices related to pain management services is a plus. A commitment to providing compassionate care to patients across various demographics.
