Duties Conduct comprehensive legal research using platforms such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, and iManage to support case development and strategy. Assist with document review, organization, and management utilizing document management systems and PCLaw. Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents including contracts, pleadings, memos, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Support litigation processes through filing court documents, maintaining case files, and tracking deadlines. Perform data entry and administrative tasks such as scheduling interviews, managing calendars, and handling client communications with professionalism. Conduct interviews with clients, witnesses, or experts to gather pertinent information for cases involving family law, personal injury law, workers' compensation law, or other practice areas. Support attorneys in preparing for trials or hearings by organizing exhibits, drafting reports, and managing case documentation efficiently. Requirements Proven paralegal experience with a strong understanding of various legal practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), immigration law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and litigation. Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; experience with legal case management software is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; proofreading and transcription abilities are essential. Familiarity with document review processes and document management systems like iManage or similar platforms. Effective interviewing techniques combined with outstanding communication skills to gather accurate information from clients or witnesses. Knowledge of project management principles to coordinate tasks efficiently within a busy law office environment. Administrative experience supporting attorneys through executive administrative support functions including filing, data entry, phone etiquette, and clerical tasks. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting; demonstrated organizational skills are crucial for success in this role.
