Part-Time Caregiver/ Med Passer

In this vital role, you will provide personalized care to individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, or home and community care settings. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, administering medications, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for those you serve. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols Monitor residents' vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavior management strategies Support residents during meal preparation and feeding to promote proper nutrition and hydration Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely to assist with transfers and mobility needs Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas to uphold health standards and promote a welcoming environment Document all care activities thoroughly in compliance with facility policies and state regulations Engage in ongoing training related to first aid, emergency response, and best caregiving practices Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings preferred Knowledge of medication administration procedures and vital signs monitoring Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or dementia is highly valued Certification in first aid is required; CPR certification is a plus Ability to assist with ADLs using proper techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts Strong communication skills and compassionate approach to resident care Valid driver's license preferred for driving duties related to resident transportation or errands Join us if you're passionate about providing exceptional senior care! Pay:

$17.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 28.0 per week
