  • Position Overview:
  • We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dedicated team at the CHP Mendota Health Center.
The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality dental care, promoting oral health, and fostering a positive patient experience. As a Dentist at our health center, you will provide comprehensive dental services, work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, and contribute to improving the overall health of our community.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough dental examinations, diagnose oral diseases, and develop effective treatment plans.
Perform routine and advanced dental procedures, including fillings, root canals, extractions, crowns, and preventive treatments. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, diet, and preventive care to promote long-term dental health. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with other healthcare providers and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care. Stay current with advancements in dental techniques and technology through continuous professional development. Participate in community outreach programs to educate the public on the importance of oral health.
  • Qualifications:
  • DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry) degree from an accredited dental school.
Valid state dental license and current CPR certification. Proven experience as a Dentist with a strong understanding of dental procedures and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and staff. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate patient records. Compassionate, patient-focused approach with a commitment to providing exceptional dental care.
