Part-Time Host / Hostess — Passionfish

We're looking for a professional, polished, and upbeat Host / Hostess to join our fine dining team in Pacific Grove. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating genuine guest connections, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and values teamwork as much as hospitality. We're looking for someone who is organized, guest-focused, and enjoys being part of a strong, team-oriented restaurant culture. What We're Looking For Weekend availability is required 1-3 years of fine dining or upscale hospitality experience preferred Professional, polished, and guest-focused demeanor Friendly, confident, and naturally welcoming personality Strong communication and multitasking skills Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure Familiarity with: Toast POS, OpenTable ,Yelp and guest review platforms Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable & Yelp Coordinate seating flow with management and service staff Answer phones and assist guests with confidence and hospitality Maintain a polished and organized host stand Help create a smooth, memorable, and elevated dining experience Support the front-of-house team to ensure smooth and efficient service About Passionfish; Passionfish is a sustainability-focused seafood restaurant known for serious food, thoughtful hospitality, and one of the most fairly priced wine programs in the country.
