Part time housekeeping/laundry attendant

Job Overview We are looking for someone to join our small team as a room attendant/laundry attendant. Must be trustworthy as you will be entering guests' rooms. Must have good customer service skills, be able to communicate clearly, neat in appearance. Be willing to work weekends and some holidays. Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred. Must follow IHG Brand Standard of cleaning as set by IHG and our Corporate hotel policies. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment. Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care. Restock supplies in guest rooms and public spaces, including toiletries, towels, linens, and cleaning products. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or damage while using industrial cleaning equipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and uphold the highest standards of hospitality.

Experience Prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles within hotels or hospitality environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with laundry operations and handling various fabrics with appropriate care. Experience in custodial work or industrial cleaning demonstrates strong attention to detail and efficiency. Background in hospitality or housekeeping management is a plus for those seeking growth opportunities within the team. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to cleaning equipment and chemicals.
