Job Description
Job Overview BCS Switchgear is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented part-time team member to assist with daily shipping and administrative functions. This position involves a mix of hands-on shipping tasks and office support in an environment that can vary between fast-paced and slower periods throughout the day. The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, and able to stay productive and efficient in either setting. (Monday - Friday is required) Responsibilities Prepare and process shipments via various small package, LTL freight, and hotshot carriers Create shipping labels, BOLs, and packing slips Answers phones and responds to emails Assists with data entry, filing, and document organization Support clerical team members with daily administrative tasks Maintain organized records and documents Other duties as assigned Skills Strong attention to detail Effective and professional communication skills Organization and multitasking Basic computer skills (Excel, email, shipping software, and bookkeeping software) Self-motivated and able to work quickly and accurately with minimal supervision Must be comfortable working in an environment where workload and pace may vary from day to day.
