Job Description

Huntington Learning Center of Zionsville is hiring a part-time Teacher Tutor for in-person instruction with K-12 students. This role is best for an educator who wants meaningful student work without the demands of a full classroom. We provide the students, curriculum, materials, and training. You bring teaching skill, reliability, and care for student progress. Students depend on consistency, so this is not an occasional fill-in role. We are looking for tutors who can commit to the same recurring weekly shifts for at least one semester or four months. Six months, the full school year, or ongoing availability is especially helpful. 4:00-8:00
PM Saturday:
9:00 AM-3:00 PM Summer tutoring blocks

9:00 AM-3:00 PM Retired teachers and experienced educators are strongly encouraged to apply. This role is ideal if you miss working directly with students but do not want full-time school demands. Requirements Able to work in person at Huntington Learning Center of Zionsville Able to commit to recurring weekly shifts for at least one semester or four months Strong communication skills and reliability Comfortable working with K-12 students one-on-one or in small groups Comfortable supporting at least one core academic area such as reading, writing, math, study skills, or homework support Professional, patient, and encouraging with students Preferred qualifications Teaching, tutoring, substitute teaching, or classroom experience Education degree, teaching license, retired teacher background, or strong subject-matter experience Comfort supporting elementary or middle-school reading and math Availability for six months, the full school year, or ongoing Pay and benefits $19.00 per hour Paid training and shadowing Curriculum and materials provided Employee discount Predictable part-time schedule Meaningful work with local students Job type Part-time Work location In person at 1455 W Oak St, Zionsville, IN 46077
