Parts Cleaner

Overview LAB Security Systems is a small family-owned company that manufactures and packages precision parts. The Parts Cleaner is responsible for operating and maintaining various parts washing equipment while coordinating washes with department supervisors according to production schedules. Duties & Responsibilities Operate, clean, and maintain all wash department systems, including but not limited to water filtration, cleaning solution, tumbling, and coloring. Inspect product using various inspection methods Place parts in correct baskets and make sure all baskets are labeled correctly, keep an even workflow. Perform preventative maintenance as necessary Suggest improvements, help train new personnel, communicate all issues, work overtime when needed Follow directions from team leads, supervisors, and managers, be proactive and helpful. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, be at your workstation on time daily Use computer programs to assist in recording data, making labels, etc. Work safely following regulations, standards, and procedures, and in a manner that eliminates unreasonable risk to health and the environment. Notify management of unsafe conditions or practices, unlawful activities, and activities that present unreasonable health and/or environmental risk. Sweep and mop job area throughout the day to keep it clean and dry Perform other duties as required or directed.

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years old, high school diploma preferred, detail-oriented, automotive/mechanical ability a plus Willingness and understanding you will get dirty at times and will have to work with chemicals Skill and ability to work with your hands, manual tools, and other instruments Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand & work on your feet for 8+ hours a day and under pressure at times Have a Can-Do Attitude, with good time management, communication, and decision-making skills Self-starting and motivation; believe in teamwork and uphold the ability to always help others Adhere to all safety rules, give it your all every day, must have regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday•1st Shift (6am•2:30pm)

Pay Range:
