Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Parts Room Clerk to manage inventory, facilitate procurement, and support efficient parts operations within our manufacturing environment. In this role, you will oversee the organization and control of parts inventory, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure seamless order processing. Your expertise will help optimize supply chain workflows, maintain accurate records, and support our manufacturing activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional service and operational excellence. Duties Maintain accurate inventory levels through diligent data entry, inventory control, and warehouse management practices using our Syspro system and other order management systems. Manage shipping & receiving processes, ensuring timely and accurate movement of parts in accordance with logistics and supply chain protocols. Coordinate procurement activities Operate equipment such as forklifts safely to organize warehouse space, facilitate shipping & receiving, and manage warehouse experience requirements. Implement demand planning strategies to forecast parts needs, optimize sourcing decisions, and reduce excess inventory. Support supplier management efforts by maintaining strong relationships with vendors, tracking delivery schedules, and resolving supply chain issues promptly. Provide excellent customer service by assisting internal teams with order management system inquiries, parts availability checks, and technical support related to company needs. Experience Proven experience in warehouse management or inventory control within manufacturing Familiarity with supply chain management principles including sourcing, procurement management, demand planning, and logistics coordination. Hands-on experience with ERP systems such Syspro or similar platforms used for inventory tracking and order processing. Excellent data entry skills combined with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively across teams and suppliers. Pay:
