Coulee Medical Center is seeking a Patient Account Representative to join our dedicated and tight-knit billing team. This position focuses primarily on commercial insurance claims and supports both our Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinic. What You'll Do Submit and follow up on commercial insurance claims Resolve claim denials, errors, and payment issues Communicate with insurance carriers Support patients and families with kindness and clarity Work side-by-side with a team that is here for each other What We're Looking For Medical billing or patient accounts experience preferred, but we are happy to train the right candidate Commercial insurance billing experience strongly preferred CAH and/or RHC billing experience is a plus Experience with Cerner and SSI is a plus Strong attention to detail and customer service skills Enjoy a supportive, close-knit workplace that values community, work-life balance, and small-town living—while making a meaningful impact in rural healthcare.
