Job Description
Atlantic Hearing, Balance & Tinnitus Center is looking to add a patient care coordinator to their dynamic team. Our team of Audiologists and hearing professionals have expertise in state-of-the-art hearing aids that ensure patients are receiving superior comfort, unmatched technology, and best-in-class patient care. Our flagship clinic is in Port Orange, FL with additional clinics in Ormond Beach, New Smyrna Beach, Titusville, Palm Coast, and growing. Regardless of what location you work in, you will receive the same world-class onboarding, training, and mentorship. Patient care is at the center of all we do! This position will be working in the Port Orange, FL clinic. Our Patient Care Coordinators are our front office leaders. In this role you will walk patients through the process from their first step in the door to transitioning to meeting with a hearing professional. Our Audiologists and Hearing Instrument specialists perform hearing evaluations and diagnostic tests and make recommendations on devices or treatments that will help the patient achieve their best hearing. - Manages clinic schedule to ensure efficient patient care for appointments, and potential walk-in patients.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; in-person, email & telephone.
- Prepares and updates patient charts.
- First point of contact for incoming patients, manages check-in process, collects insurance, schedule follow-up appointments.
- Friendly, enthusiastic customer service for each patient that steps into the office.
- Collects and records payments, orders supplies, audits inventory. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- Experience interacting with patients or customers.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task, work quickly, accurately, and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in a team environment and achieving monthly goals preferred.
