POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for providing assistance, first aid, and protection to guests; monitoring and reporting the condition of trails, lifts, and snow cover while patrolling trails and slope areas; and maintaining warnings and trail signs. Starting wage between $23.83/hr.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

At least eighteen (18) years old Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to operate equipment as needed Must have current E mergency M edical R esponder( EMT) , O utdoor E mergency C are( OEC ), W ilderness F irst R esponder( WFR ), or other certification that will be reviewed for acceptance Must have a current certification for CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer A talented communicator having a calm and collective demeanor, especially during challenging operations Capacity to read, understand, and comply with documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
