Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a meaningful opportunity serving students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-oriented setting, conveniently located near Dearborn, MI. This contract position is scheduled for an ASAP start, with potential to extend into the fall. Enjoy a flexible schedule—work full-time at 4-5 days per week (approximately 30 hours), or opt for part-time based on your availability. Your expertise will directly support a caseload of 52 students, helping them overcome communication challenges and thrive in their educational environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP licensure, or eligibility for licensure Certification in Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) welcomed Open to those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) School-based or pediatric SLP experience is highly valued Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school-aged caseload Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate documentation according to district and legal guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals Adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs Foster a supportive, inclusive, student-centered environment
