Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity designed for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist excited to make a meaningful difference in secondary education. For the 2026-2027 academic year, provide critical language, social, and job communication support to high school students, all while enjoying flexibility and professional growth. This onsite role encompasses just two days a week, focusing on a varied caseload where your expertise in complex language challenges and social skill development will be highly valued. With supportive colleagues and a collaborative environment, you'll have the chance to empower students as they prepare for life beyond the classroom.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Nebraska state SLP license Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome CCC preferred, but not required Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings is a strong plus Skills in providing intervention for language, social communication, and job readiness needs Collaborative mindset and commitment to student-centered support Key responsibilities: Deliver targeted speech-language therapy to high school students with diverse needs Implement strategies to enhance social and job communication skills Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student progress Maintain detailed records and contribute to IEP development and progress monitoring Stay abreast of best practices in school-based SLP services This contract role offers a competitive hourly rate between $40-60, weekly pay, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as 401k enrollment and CEU reimbursement to support your ongoing professional development.
