Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, where your expertise will shape the communication and academic success of students for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position runs from August 24, 2026, through May 2027, serving a vibrant educational community near Waseca, MN. You'll make a difference through a combination of on-site and potential teletherapy services, working with a dedicated team focused on student growth.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Active or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or ready for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Background in pediatric SLP, with a passion for supporting children from diverse backgrounds Prior experience in a school-based, healthcare, or teletherapy setting preferred Ability to implement IEPs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, and communication needs Develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) Consult regularly with educators, staff, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate records and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings Adapt services for in-person and virtual formats as needed Engage in ongoing professional development
