Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact on the lives of students by applying your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school-based environment. Key Skills & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current CCC-SLP or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision Licensure as required for school-based practice Experience in pediatric settings, preferably within schools or via teletherapy platforms Proficiency with assessment tools, documentation, and individualized education plan (IEP) processes Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a commitment to student growthResponsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based treatment for students with speech, language, and communication disorders Develop tailored therapy plans aligned with each student's IEP goals Collaborate regularly with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for each child Deliver direct intervention through in-person or teletherapy formats, as needed Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and service logs in compliance with state and federal guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities Offer guidance and strategies for educators and caregivers to reinforce skills in the classroom and at home This position offers the satisfaction of making a daily difference and the chance to further develop your professional skills within a collaborative, dynamic school setting.
