Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful position supporting school-aged children as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity is tailored for professionals dedicated to enhancing student communication skills in an educational setting. Apply your expertise in speech and language development while collaborating closely with school teams and families. Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure (or eligibility) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) will be considered Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based settings Effective communication and documentation skills Ability to adapt approaches for diverse student needs and learning stylesResponsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students on your caseload Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) addressing each student's unique goals Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, customizing techniques for students from Pre-K through high school Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to maximize student progress Maintain accurate records and progress notes in line with school and state requirements Offer support and guidance to faculty and families regarding communication disorders Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and ongoing professional developmentBenefits & Perks:
