Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a contract opportunity that lets you make a real difference in educational and clinical settings! In this dynamic role supporting speech-language pathologists, you'll engage directly with students, help implement treatment plans, and facilitate progress in both school and healthcare environments. Your commitment to fostering communication and advocating for student success will be at the heart of what you do.
Desired Qualifications:
Associate's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program Valid SLPA licensure/certification, meeting state requirements Previous experience supporting SLPs in school or healthcare settings Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Adaptability when working with children and adolescents with diverse needs Ability to document sessions and maintain confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
Assist SLPs with executing therapy sessions tailored to individual student goals Carry out targeted articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic interventions Collect and report data on student progress under SLP supervision Support accurate documentation and contribute to IEP or service planning meetings as needed Provide a positive, encouraging, and supportive learning environment Communicate regularly with teachers and caregivers regarding student updates Maintain compliance with all school, district, and healthcare guidelines This contract position offers the chance to work closely with multidisciplinary teams, gaining valuable experience that enhances your professional growth.
