Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing vital support just two days a week with a high school caseload. Your expertise in language intervention, social skills development, and job communication strategies will empower students to achieve meaningful progress. This position is strictly onsite, offering an engaging, collaborative school environment near Waverly, NE.
Qualifications and Background:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Nebraska state license CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status welcomed Pediatric or school-based SLP experience preferred Strong interest in supporting language, social, and functional communication in high school students
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and individualized therapy for language and social skill needs Collaborate closely with educational teams to align communication goals with academic and job readiness objectives Develop creative, evidence-based interventions focused on functional, real-world communication Track progress meticulously and communicate outcomes to students, families, and staff Attend school meetings and contribute insights into student support plans You'll receive competitive hourly pay between $40 and $60 and the ability to choose from health, dental, and vision benefits designed to support your overall well-being.
