Coleman Health Services has an opening for a full-time Peer Support Specialist. This position will be located in Wapakoneta, Ohio but serve Miami, Darke & Shelby Counties in Ohio. This position is a role model to peers, exhibiting competency in personal recovery and the use of coping skills, serving as an advocate, and providing information about peer support in outpatient and settings. Peer Support Specialist performs a wide range of tasks to help peers regain independence within the community and ownership over their own recovery process by using a variety of techniques. Peer Specialists provide guidance, hope, and support toward recovery through personal experience and growth and on a reciprocal basis.

Peer Support Requirements:
