The Swartz Creek Performing Arts Center is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented PAC Technician to support the technical and operational needs of our 644-seat venue. This role is essential in ensuring that school and community events run smoothly, safely, and professionally.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for events, including lighting, sound, projection, and stage operations Set up, operate, and strike equipment for rehearsals and performances Maintain and troubleshoot PAC technical systems and equipment Ensure safe use of backstage areas, rigging systems, catwalks, and orchestra pit Collaborate with PAC Coordinator, Technical Consultant, and event stakeholders Support visiting groups and assist with student technician oversight when needed

Qualifications:

Working knowledge of theatre lighting, sound, and stage operations Ability to lift 30-50 lbs and work evenings/weekends as needed Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Prior experience in theatre, events, or technical production (preferred)
