As a performer, you will showcase your acting and public speaking skills to captivate kiddos and ensure every event is unforgettable. Responsibilities Perform lively character roles at birthday parties and corporate events, bringing characters to life through acting, voice acting, dance, and costume portrayal Engage audiences with energetic crowd interaction, ensuring guests are involved and entertained throughout the event Maintain high levels of enthusiasm and professionalism while managing multiple performances in various settings Communicating efficiently with the booking team, and picking up your costumes on time. Demonstrate excellent communication skills to connect with children and adults alike, creating a joyful and inclusive environment Create a safe and encouraging environment for kids to celebrate their special day and make memories. Practice your party skills (facepaint, magic, singing, balloon twisting, storytime) to ensure every party is prepared. Keep up with the latest children's movies, Disney princesses, and Marvel superheroes. We offer many different packages, including Swimming Mermaids, Mascots, Stilt Walkers, Balloon Twisters and Face Painters, as well as craft leaders/crafts, delivery drivers for our sets and balloon arches, and so much more! At Royal, we are always creating the new and the next in San Diego's party entertainment community. Requirements Proven experience working with children in entertainment, theatre, or related fields; background in acting or theatre production is highly desirable Strong public speaking skills with the ability to project voice clearly using microphones in large spaces Experience with live streaming or studio recording environments is a plus Ability to perform physical activities such as dancing and modeling confidently during performances Familiarity with crowd interaction techniques to keep guests engaged and entertained throughout events Excellent communication skills combined with a lively personality that can adapt to different audience dynamics Previous experience in film production performance or theater experience is preferred but not required Must be energetic, reliable, and comfortable performing in costume while maintaining character authenticity Pay Structure Event Pay is $85 minimum for events Event Pay is $100 for 1hr, each additional hour is $60 additional. The standard party package is 1.5hrs ($130) Event Pay Pay does not include gratuity, which you are welcome to keep and do not have to share. ($130 + $20-50). The standard package is 1.5hrs, but some packages do start at 1hr ($100), or at 2hrs ($160).
