Job Description
Seeking an experienced video producer to join Strange Parts, the company behind Strange Parts, Stranger Parts, Electric Ranch, and their social media. You'll manage production from start to finish across all three channels. This fast-paced role requires strong organization/project management, pre- and post-production experience, and a passion for technology, manufacturing, and rural tech. Strange Parts is a production company managing multiple YouTube channels and associated social media accounts. Its flagship channel, Strange Parts, has nearly 2 million subscribers and explores manufacturing and technology through ambitious engineering projects, such as building a working iPhone from parts sourced in the electronics markets of Shenzhen. The channel also provides behind-the-scenes access to some of the world's most interesting and innovative factories. Stranger Parts expands on the main channel with tool reviews, behind-the-scenes content, deeper explorations, and more spontaneous projects. Electric Ranch explores the intersection of technology and rural living, with projects such as building our own cellular network and automated snowploughs. The producer will help create engaging, high-quality content showcasing the challenges, projects, and innovations involved in maintaining, improving, and automating tasks on a rural property.
