• Responsibilities:

• As part of the SCarowinds Terror Team, daily assigned duties vary & may include tasks such as:
• Scare guests of all ages without touching by using the element of surprise
• Entertain guests as a costumed character by bringing to life the personality of the specific character through hand/body movements and strong vocalization where applicable
• Develop gestures and movements unique to the character to make our guests scream in terror
• Wear complete costume, makeup, and/or mask provided as assigned.
• Maintain a healthy and FUN scare experience for guests and fellow monsters

+ Good judgement and a commitment to safety. + Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds. + Individuals with a passion and excitement about Carowinds. + Ability to demonstrate strong vocal tones & basic acting ability. + Ability to scream and speak before large groups of people. + Ability to maintain a calm demeanor during emotionally charged situations. + Ability to wear costumes with masks, and/or heavy make-up. + Ability to work in a dark or poorly lit area with special effects and atmospheric fog. + Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
