Dance Instructor/Choreographer

Ballet Instructor HeartBeat Dance Academy (HBDAnce) is looking for passionate Ballet and Pointe Instructors to join our team! Now celebrating 24 years in business, HBDA servers 500+ dance families across our two studio locations in Belmont and San Mateo. Our programs support dancers at every stage

• from those stepping into their very first dance class to those training at an elite competitive level. At HBDA, we pride ourselves on being more than just a studio
• we are a second family to many. We strive to create a nurturing, safe and inspiring environment where dancers of all ages and experience levels can grow, challenge themselves and share their love of dance. We are looking for ballet instructors who embody these same values
• teachers who can instill the joy of dance in beginners while also providing the technical excellence needed to support serious dancers pursuing advanced training or professional goals.

What you'll do Teach ballet classes for dancers ages 3-18 Lead pre-ballet and beginner classes that nurture creativity and confidence in our youngest dancers and/or ... ...train intermediate and advanced ballet students Choreograph performance pieces and potentially competition routines Create a positive, supportive classroom environment that reflects HBDA's welcoming community Opportunities available 2026 Summer Camps + Classes 2026-2027 Season (September 2026-June 2027) Why Join HBDA?
