• Bay Area, CA An opportunity is available for experienced Pharmacy Technicians to join a special project in the Bay Area.

This contract position offers an efficient way to gain work hours and earn income promptly, ideal for technicians eager to apply their skills in a fast-paced production environment.

Location:

Bay Area, CA (near Union City)

Schedule:

4 days per week, 8:00 AM

• 4:30 PM 6 evenings per week, 1:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Fill prescriptions and prepackage medications under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, adhering to all regulatory and safety standards. Assist the Pharmacist with final prescription checks, including medication preparation for review and packaging after final verification. Support inventory management efforts such as receiving, rotating stock, tracking lot numbers and expiration dates, and participating in physical inventory counts. Collaborate with the Technician Supervisor to maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning work environment, including equipment calibration and safety checks. This role focuses on fulfillment tasks; IV preparation is not part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid California Pharmacy Technician license in hand. Proven ability to work accurately and efficiently under supervision in a pharmacy setting. Familiarity with medication packaging, inventory procedures, and compliance standards. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work flexible shifts based on project needs.
