Job Overview We're looking for a ballet instructor with former professional dance expereience and 8+ years of teaching under their belt. The role centers on our youngest dancers, with the flexibility to sub for teen classes when needed. Ideal candidates bring strong technical training, a genuine love for teaching children, and the maturity to also work with older students. Beyond the classroom, we're looking for someone who wants to grow with the school: helping run Nutcracker rehearsals, choreographing, working backstage during our productions, and showing up as a real part of the studio community. This isn't just a teaching gig. We want someone invested in where Dance Evolution Studios is headed. What You'll Do Teach ballet technique to young children with warmth, structure, and clear age-approrpriate progressions. Sub for teen-level classes as needed Support Nutcracker season: rehearsals, choreography, and backtsage coordination Communicate proactively with staff and families about student progress, class needs, and logistics Notice what needs to get done and take initiative, respectfully and collaboratively Contribute to positive, health-conscious studio culture What We're Looking For Former professional dance experience 8+ years of ballet teaching experience Comfort and skill teaching young children, plus the flexibility to teach teens Choreography experience, especially for group and production numbers Organized, dependable, and able to manage rehearsal and performance logistics Trustworthy, kind, and warm with students, families, and fellow staff Health-conscious approach to training, aligned with our science-based philosophy A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills Open to candidates with additional ballet-school-related skills (administration, choreography, front desk for expanded part-time or full-time hours About Us Dance Evolution Studios is a science-based classical ballet school in Santa Rosa, where movement and wellness meet. Pay:

$40.00 - $55.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
