Dance Director Ventura, CA Job Details Part-time $40 - $50 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Teaching visual & performing arts Teamwork Working with children Ballet Teaching Full Job Description Creative Arts Academy is seeking a passionate, experienced, and dynamic Dance Director to help shape and co-lead our growing dance division alongside our studio owner. We work with students ages 3-17 and are looking for someone with a strong foundation across multiple styles, including hip hop, ballet, tap, lyrical, and jazz. Our ideal candidate is not only an exceptional instructor, but also a leader who can build curriculum, mentor teachers, and create a cohesive, inspiring dance program. What we're looking for: Extensive experience in multiple dance genres Proven background teaching and developing youth dance programs (ages 3-17) Strong leadership skills with the ability to structure, grow, and co-manage a dance division Energetic, reliable, and highly professional A passion for both performance and nurturing young dancers Ability to collaborate closely with studio leadership and contribute to long-term vision Responsibilities may include: Teaching weekly classes across age levels and styles Assisting in curriculum development and program structure Mentoring and supporting dance faculty Helping lead performances, showcases, and productions Contributing to a positive, team-driven studio culture
