About the
Role:
We're looking for a passionate, versatile Dance Instructor to join our growing recreational dance studio! Our studio prides itself on creating a positive, encouraging environment where having fun is always a priority. At the same time, we have a strong group of dedicated dancers who are eager to grow, be challenged, and continue developing their skills. If you love working with kids, thrive in a supportive team environment, and enjoy teaching a variety of styles, this could be the perfect fit. We have openings for classes taught on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
What You'll Do:
Teach and demonstrate choreography across a variety of dance styles (ballet, tap, jazz, funk, modern, contemporary) Create a fun, engaging, and safe classroom environment Inspire confidence, discipline, and a love of dance in every student Adapt teaching methods for students ages 6-18 Serve as a positive role model for students and peers Communicate with parents when needed regarding student progress Maintain a clean and organized studio space Collaborate with fellow instructors and participate in team events Attend required staff meetings and trainings
What We're Looking For:
Age 23+ Minimum 3 years of dance teaching experience in a studio setting Strong background in multiple styles (ballet, tap, jazz, funk, modern, contemporary) Ability to clearly demonstrate movement and choreography Experience working with children and teens (ages 6-18) Reliable transportation Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude Preferred (but not required): Degree in dance or related field
