Groove Galaxy Dance Studio (G2) is looking for an experienced, committed, and passionate Hip Hop instructor to join our team at our brand new location in Mechanicsburg, PA! This is a paid position. About Us Groove Galaxy Dance Studio orbits around a passion for movement, offering various dance genres for dance lovers at the heart of Mechanicsburg. We believe dance is not just about movement; it's a transformative experience that builds character, discipline, and confidence — whether you're stepping onto the dance floor for the first time or refining your skills as a seasoned dancer. Known as the region's premier Bollywood dance studio, G2 is now expanding beyond our roots. As we grow into our new location, we're launching new Hip Hop batches for kids and adults, and we're looking for the right instructor to help build this program from the ground up. Job Overview We're seeking an energetic and passionate Hip Hop instructor to inspire and engage both kids and adults through dynamic dance classes. You'll design engaging curricula, lead lively classes, and create a positive environment that builds skill, creativity, and confidence in students of all levels. Duties Design and lead Hip Hop dance classes for kids and adults, covering choreography, rhythm, and performance technique Develop lesson plans tailored to different age groups and skill levels Manage classroom environment, ensuring safety, positive behavior, and inclusive participation Provide personalized feedback to support each student's progress Choreograph routines and prepare students for studio showcases and community events Maintain attendance records and student progress notes Qualifications Proven experience teaching Hip Hop dance; experience with other dance styles is a plus Strong choreography and lesson-planning skills across age groups Experience working with children and youth a plus Strong classroom management skills Reliable, energetic, and passionate about teaching Excellent communication skills What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity to launch and shape a new Hip Hop program at a growing studio Access to studio space for classes and rehearsals Be part of 12+ community performances a year, including major events How to Apply Send your resume to groovegalaxydancestudio@gmail.com with the subject line "Hip Hop Instructor Application."
