About Christ Indy UMC Christ Indianapolis United Methodist Church exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world through worship, fellowship, prayer, service, and outreach. Along with our traditional worship service, we offer THIRST, a contemporary worship experience that combines modern music, Biblical teaching, and a welcoming atomosphere designed to help people strengthen their faith. Chris Indy UMC is seeking an energetic and spiritually mature musician to serve as the THIRST Music Director. This part-time ministry position provides musical and spiritual leadership for our contemporary worship service while cultivating an engaging worship environment and developing a team of volunteer musicians and vocalists. What You'll Do

• Lead music during weekly THIRST worship services
• Build worship sets that support sermon themes
• Recruit, mentor, and develop volunteer musicians and vocalists
• Coordinate rehearsals and communicate schedules
• Lead sound checks and Sunday morning preparation
• Foster an encouraging and Christ-Centered worship culture
• Participate in church staff meetings What We're Looking For
