Director of Worship Ministry Highland Park First Baptist Church | Louisville, Kentucky Highland Park First Baptist Church is seeking a part-time Director of Worship Ministry to lead our congregation in Christ-centered, biblically grounded worship.

God's mission through the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are seeking a man who loves the Lord, loves the local church, and senses God's call to lead His people in worship. The Position The Director of Worship Ministry will: Plan and lead weekly worship services and special services. Lead a blended worship ministry incorporating hymns, gospel music, and contemporary worship , with an emphasis on biblically sound music and congregational participation. Lead and develop our choir, praise teams, instrumentalists, and media/tech ministry. Recruit, train, encourage, and equip volunteers, including opportunities for children and youth to grow as worship leaders. Oversee or assist with audio, video, livestream, and related technology. This is a part-time position averaging approximately 15 hours per week, with annual compensation of approximately $20,000-$25,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We're Looking For Someone Who Demonstrates a genuine love for Christ and commitment to the local church. Agrees with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. Has appropriate education and/or experience in music and worship leadership. Possesses strong organizational and relational skills. Has experience with, or a willingness to learn, audio, video, and livestream technology. Is preferably proficient on an appropriate instrument for worship leadership.
