Join Theatre 370 as Music Director for The Little Mermaid! Ready to make a massive splash this fall? Holliston High School's award-winning Theatre 370 is seeking a talented, visionary, and collaborative Music Director to lead the vocal and orchestral journey for our Fall Musical production of Disney's The Little Mermaid. If you are a skilled musician who loves inspiring young artists, shaping soaring harmonies, and bringing iconic scores to life, we want you on our creative team. Come dive into an unforgettable season and help our students find their voices-both on stage and under the sea! Qualifications We are looking for someone who loves to teach and work with high school students in a musical theatre production process, beginning immediately through November performances The ideal candidate will have a positive approach and establish a professional and engaging working environment that is process-oriented and empowers student leadership Seeking musicians with the ability to teach and guide singers through score, prioritizing vocal health for young performers Responsibilities Act as vocal coach and music director to teach music during the process Conduct the pit during performances Hire pit musicians and recruit student musicians Collaborate with the Director and Choreographer to develop a plan and vision for the show Attend production meetings with the production staff throughout the process Coordinate auditions and cast the production with the Director and Choreographer Create and coordinate a rehearsal schedule with the Director and Choreographer Oversee tech week and production week, including sitzprobe
