Funeral Arranger Andre's Family Mortuary and Cremation LLC North Las Vegas, NV Job Details Part-time | Contract 12 hours ago Qualifications Confidential information handling Customer service Caseload management Filing Records management Attention to detail Working with families Computer skills Productivity software Time management Full Job Description Funeral Arranger Andre's Family Mortuary and Cremation LLC Las Vegas, NV Andre's Family Mortuary and Cremation LLC is seeking a compassionate, professional, organized, and detail-oriented Funeral Arranger to assist families with making funeral and cremation arrangements. The Funeral Arranger will work closely with families, the Managing Funeral Director, and other members of the funeral home team to ensure arrangements are handled accurately, respectfully, and efficiently from the initial family meeting through completion of services. The ideal candidate understands the importance of compassion, professionalism, confidentiality, attention to detail, and excellent customer service when working with families during difficult times. Responsibilities Meet with families to discuss and arrange funeral and cremation services. Obtain and document information necessary to complete funeral arrangements. Explain available funeral and cremation services, merchandise, and options to families. Prepare and complete contracts, authorizations, permits, and other required documentation. Coordinate funeral and memorial service details with families, clergy, churches, cemeteries, crematories, florists, musicians, and other service providers. Coordinate service dates, times, locations, and logistical details. Assist families with obituary information and death certificate documentation. Maintain accurate and complete case files and records. Communicate family requests and case information to the Managing Funeral Director and appropriate staff. Ensure all arrangement details are accurately documented and communicated. Follow up with families throughout the arrangement process and provide updates as needed. Assist with preparing and organizing funeral and memorial services. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding families, decedents, financial information, and company information. Follow all company policies, procedures, and applicable Nevada laws and regulations. Immediately communicate family concerns, complaints, unusual circumstances, or other issues to the Managing Funeral Director and/or Human Resources, as appropriate. Maintain professional boundaries with families, coworkers, and vendors. Assist with other funeral home operational duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Must be legally qualified and authorized under Nevada law to perform funeral arranging duties in the State of Nevada. Ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with grieving families. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple families, cases, and deadlines simultaneously. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries. Computer proficiency, including email, electronic records, and office software. Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team. Dependable, professional, and able to maintain a calm demeanor in sensitive situations. Preferred Qualifications Experience arranging funerals and/or cremation services preferred. Knowledge of funeral service practices, procedures, and documentation preferred. Knowledge of Nevada funeral service requirements preferred. Experience working in a funeral home, mortuary, crematory, or related setting preferred. Familiarity with death certificates, permits, authorizations, and vital records preferred. Experience with funeral home management software preferred. Familiarity with local Las Vegas cemeteries, crematories, churches, and funeral service providers preferred. Schedule The position may require flexibility based on the needs of the funeral home, including: Weekday availability Evening availability Weekend availability Holiday availability On-call availability as needed Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who understands that families are trusting us with some of the most important and difficult moments of their lives.
