Worship Director Job Summary The Worship Director ( WD ), serves Xperience Church as the most senior staff member of the Worship Department. The WD is directly responsible for all aspects of the worship ministry at Xperience Church. They are directly responsible for recruiting, leading, and developing the worship department staff, leaders, and volunteers. They are also responsible for overseeing and maintaining all worship equipment needed to support all events of Xperience Church. Recruit and train new worship team members. Coordinate and collaborate with Xperience Staff to ensure creative efforts align with the overall church vision. Communicate and schedule meetings, rehearsals, special events, Sunday services, etc. Utilize tools (CCB, Monday.com, etc.) to communicate and keep the team informed on events going on and team responsibilities. Oversee the systems, processes, and structures of Xperience Worship. Steward and oversee the worship department budget. Coordinate with the Director of Programming about the vision for services and special events. Establish, monitor, and evaluate metrics for the Worship Department. Establish and execute annual goals for the Worship Department. About Defiance, Ohio Defiance, OH is a rural community in Northwest Ohio - halfway between Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Toledo, Ohio.
