Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a Protestant Music Director to lead musical worship, direct the Protestant Praise Team (PPT), and provide piano/keyboard accompaniment for Sunday services, holy days, and special events at Fairchild Air Force Base. This role serves military service members and their families in a blended, contemporary Protestant chapel setting. Responsibilities Leads congregational worship singing, directs the Praise Team band and vocalists, and conducts weekly 1-hour rehearsals. Provides piano or keyboard accompaniment for Sunday worship services, holy days, and special events. Prepares visual media slides with CCLI licensing information and submits song lyrics 3 days in advance. Sets up, tears down, and secures musical instruments, audio equipment, scores, and music resources. Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteer musicians and vocalists. Advises chapel leadership on monthly and annual music program equipment and budget needs. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience as a worship musician and lead singer across multiple denominational styles. Ability to play piano/keyboard, read music, and direct choirs or vocal ensembles. Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills. Must pass a Tier 1 background check to secure access to the military base network.
Pay:
$1,085.50 - $1,169.00 per month
