Job Summary Job Description:
The College of Science in Indianapolis is seeking up to four Student Proctors. The seven departments, most notably Mathematics, in the College regularly require proctors for in-person examinations, including makeup and alternate examinations. All of these examinations require careful proctoring. Proctors will be expected to independently start, monitor, conclude, and process examinations. Proctors will report directly to the Senior Operations Specialist for the College of Science in Indianapolis and indirectly to the Instructional Support Specialist for Mathematics in Indianapolis.Job Duties:
Facilitate the timely start of make-up examinations, including proper organization and check-in procedures.Monitor in-person examinations in accordance with the Purdue standards of academic integrity. Perform specific directions depending on the course for which you are proctoring. Scan exams and scantron forms when necessary. Be on-call for more general evening examinations and work cooperatively with other instructors and teaching assistants in this process.
