Community Orchestra Description:

The Metrowest Symphony Orchestra is looking for players as it embarks on its 2026-27 season. Bassoons and violas especially needed! Season highlights include Beethoven's 5th Symphony, the Haydn Trumpet Concerto, the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto, the Finale to Stravinsky's Firebird, and more. Concert dates are November 1 and December 13, 2026, and March 14 and May 16, 2027, with Saturday dress rehearsals the day before. Rehearsals are Tuesdays, 7 pm to 9:30 pm.

Location:

Framingham State University, Dwight Performing Arts Center.

Qualifications:

Experience playing an orchestral instrument in a band or orchestra setting and ability make all required dates.
