Full job description Overview The Sound Technician will manage all sound needs in the respective venue. This is a part-time position

Qualifications:

Experience with live sound mixing, and/or studio mixing General knowledge of signal flow, EQ and Compression, routing, and mixing board layouts (X32, WING, etc.) Flexibility on both large and medium rooms Able to adapt to changes as they arise Demonstrates strong communication and organizational skills Team player able to carry out verbal or written instruction Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with attention to detail A willingness to grow and learn in craft Must have a passion and love for Christ and understand the Mission of Woods Chapel Church Responsibilities and Accountabilities of this position include: Accommodate all congregational members with special hearing needs Manage in-room mix and online/family room mix Maintain the attitude of a humble servant with all volunteers. Be transparent and available on Sunday mornings to make changes that the pastor, worship leader, or music director see needed. Troubleshoot problems when they arise both in rehearsals and in services Bring any concerns to Production Coordinator and Media Director Learn the use of all cameras, streaming software, projection software, projectors, etc. Regularly de-clutter cables, stands, monitors, etc. on stage, backstage, and in the Tech Booths Be on time for all services and rehearsals having all equipment set 30 minutes before the first service begins or the rehearsal Manage FOH (Front of House Sound)

•all monitor mixes and work with musicians to control volume

Required Hours:

Sundays 8 a.m

•12 p.m. and Thursdays 6:30 p.m

•8:30 p.m. Optional hours Tuesdays 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Occasional special event hours throughout the year.

Venues:

Sanctuary 'Traditional' service. Includes choir, small orchestra, and piano. Worship Center 'Modern' service. Includes acoustic drums in an enclosure, 2 electric guitars, acoustic guitar, keyboard, bass, 3-4 singers, etc. Broadcast feed for Worship Center service. Equipment We run Behringer Wing's in our venues, as well as a separate WING in the broadcast booth. SHURE IEM's, Mics, and Helix's are used on stage. No Live Amps Currently.
