Overview We are seeking 3 new part time licensed therapists to join our small private practice located in the Palo Alto, CA area. This position offers a hybrid/remote work environment, providing flexibility to deliver high-quality mental health services to diverse client populations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical counseling, with experience across various therapeutic modalities and populations, including individual, adults, children, families, and couples. This role is integral to supporting clients' mental health and well-being through evidence-based practices and compassionate care. Responsibilities Conduct individual, couples and/or family therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, and behavioral therapy. Perform intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with client needs and clinical best practices. Provide crisis intervention and crisis management to clients experiencing acute mental health issues. Manage medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accurate and timely record keeping. Utilize telehealth platforms effectively for remote sessions while maintaining patient confidentiality. Stay current with medical terminology, ICD coding updates, and behavioral health trends relevant to outpatient clinical settings. Experience Licensed mental health professional with active licensure in the state of California (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent). Multiple state licenses are highly desired. Proven experience in psychotherapy across diverse populations including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote patient engagement tools. Knowledge of
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding systems for accurate diagnosis documentation. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and medical records management. Prior experience in outpatient clinical settings and EAP programs is preferred but not required.
