Job Description
Assist the Director of Band with a wide array of tasks necessary for the instrumental side of the Department of Music to function successfully. Duties will be wide ranging with examples of duties as follows: Clerical work (post office pickup, program creation/printing/folding, concert/recital streaming, library cataloging, music copying and preparation, maintaining the instrument library and rentals, etc.) Setup for rehearsals (concert bands and marching band, including field lining, water stations, etc.) and concerts Equipment transport to campus and/or off campus venues Other duties as needed assisting the Chair of the Department of Music as needed EEO Statement McMurry University is committed to an educational and working environment that provides equal opportunity to all members of the university community and prohibits unlawful discrimination on the basis of race, color, gender, national origin, age, genetic information, disability or veteran status, in employment or the provision of services, in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
