Overview We are seeking a passionate, permanent, part-time Worship Leader with blended worship knowledge to inspire and lead our small but growing congregation in meaningful praise and worship experiences. This role is vital in fostering an uplifting spiritual environment through musical excellence, spiritual leadership, and team collaboration. At this time the commitment is limited to Sunday morning services and special events but will extend after a move to a new space at the beginning of the year (2027). Instrument proficiency is required or accompanied by someone with proficiency, as well as knowledge in media, Pro Presenter and tracks. We welcome candidates who walk in Christ like faith and character, have a heart for worship, committed, reliable, and a desire to grow in a church leadership role. Responsibilities Lead praise and worship sessions during church services, ensuring a seamless flow of musical worship that aligns with the message of the day Select appropriate music, hymns, and praise songs that enhance the spiritual experience and reflect the congregation's faith journey Conduct rehearsals as needed to prepare for weekly services and special events Manage musical productions and media, including sound checks, setup, and coordination of musical instruments such as piano, guitar, drums, and other band equipment Collaborate with church leadership on service planning, music selection, and integrating musical elements into overall worship themes Qualifications Proven experience in church service musical performance, conducting praise and worship music, or leading church choirs Strong knowledge of musical liturgy, reading sheet music, vocal music techniques, and instrumental proficiency (piano or guitar) Demonstrated ability to manage musical teams effectively while fostering a spirit of collaboration and mentorship Excellent communication skills to connect with congregation members and team volunteers alike Deep understanding of religious leadership principles combined with a passion for inspiring others through music Join us as a Worship Leader to bring your musical talents to life in a faith-driven environment!
